Low-Carbon Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (formerly known as "Natural Gas Chemical Industry ") was founded in 1976, changed to the current name in January 2023, and transitioned to a monthly publication in January 2024. It is superintended by China Haohua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. and sponsored by Southwest Institute of Chemical Co., Ltd.

Manuscript Solicitation

Research progress, technological achievements and developments in C1 chemistry and catalytic conversion, low-carbon molecular conversion and synthesis, carbon resource conversion and utilization, green and low-carbon chemical technology, separation materials and purification technology, carbon dioxide capture and utilization, hydrogen production and hydrogen energy development and utilization, and natural gas development and utilization. 

Manuscript Requirements

1. The data of manuscript should be true and reliable, scientific, innovative and reproducible.

2. The manuscript should have a complete structure, from beginning to end, including the title, author’s name, institution (including secondary unit, postal code and city), abstract, keywords, main text and references.

3. On the first page of the manuscript, information such as the fund project (name and number), the first author and the corresponding author (educational background, research direction and contact information, etc.) should be provided in the form of footnotes.

4. All charts and graphs need to be standardized in accordance with the requirements of this journal and placed after the first paragraph mentioned in the main text.

5. The formulas should be uniformly numbered in full text in the order of their appearance as required by this journal, and all should be edited using the Mathtype formula editor.

6. References should be sufficient and necessary. Data cited in the text should be provided with references or their sources should be indicated. All bibliographic items of the literature should be complete and numbered in the order they appear in the text.
